Amazon's strategic partnership with OpenAI marks a watershed moment for cloud-based AI infrastructure. The $38 billion multi-year agreement will see AWS supply UltraServers to power OpenAI's workloads, with full capacity expected by 2026. This follows Amazon's recent outperformance in Q3 earnings, where AWS revenue grew 20.2% year-over-year - its strongest growth since late 2022.

Wedbush analyst Scott Devitt notes the deal complements Amazon's existing Anthropic partnership, further cementing AWS as the preferred cloud provider for AI innovators. The collaboration accelerates OpenAI's access to Amazon's global data center network while promising dedicated infrastructure expansion through 2033.
